I'm not a fan of tin-can bass-mid drivers as they all seem to take off in the treble and although the crossover stops signal at these frequencies getting to them, they still ring and clang around acoustically to me and there's often a kind of high frequency 'smearing' going on with most of the breed I've heard over the years. Looks impressive though.....

Hell, Richer Sounds still have some Diamond 9's going for well under £50. I wonder if they wouldn't be a good and incredibly cheap match with good sonics too.

You have to make your own choice, there are no specific speakers amoungst the cheaper ones that are more suitable than others, it is your ears that will choose in the end, so just buy something and sell it on if 2nd hand or take back if new if you don't like it.

I've always had a soft spot for Mission speakers. My lads each have a pair of SX2's and I think they are brilliant. The 700's also had something as bit special about them. MIssion make speakers in all sorts of price ranges. Might be good to get them before inflation gets to them.

Certainly worth casting your ears to if you get a chance.

Thank you. The P20 / A20 really needs a few speakers to complete the set. Well, if Mr. Dunn has in mind to design some in the near future, he would have to stop looking and waiting until they hit the market.

A off-topic, some photos of Galicia, where I live :-)

I wont be doing any more speaker than the Cube 3 upward as at the moment, so don't wait for me unless you want Cube 3, if then just order.

Thanks for your reply, but the Cube 3 are too expensive, I was thinking of something with a price similar to the P20/A20, more or less.

That is ALL I have to offer now and in the future, that was the point I was making.
