Speakers for P20+A20?

Have the wharfdale diamond 210s in my second system and like them a lot.

Well I've never heard any of those speakers, but if it was me I'd go and listen to the following:-
Q Acoustics 3010
Monitor Audio MR2
Epos K5

I have had a brief try with 2 other speakers with the P20 A20 combo.

Kralk Audio BC30, infinite baffle ls3/5a size usually used with Quad amps. Used against a wall to augment bass. Sounded good, this does have a more complicated crossover AFAIK than the Regas/ JPW. I noticed the A20 got warmer to the touch than using the RS3. With the RS3 its barely warm in standard use, probably a better match.

Q Acoustics 2010i. Only about 100 hours on these. They are definitely not as broken in as my JPW mini monitors. At this stage have more of hard to put in the terms but a bigger sound for sure and more refined greater sense of ease and scale maybe not quite as "brakes off" as the JPWs. It comes down to personal taste. I think swapping between them is probably not the best way of evaluating, more like listen for a day to each to form a more rounded opinion as they present music differently IMO. Think I read elsewhere that Gromit uses these speakers on powerful amps, maybe they need more NVA juice through them..more nva kit...upgraditis...argh

Had the Q 2010i on A40's, very enjoyable and would buy again without hesitation.

Gromit moved upto the Q 3010 speakers and said that they were better than the 2010's, but gather he is back with Royds.

I've had lots of kit go through here, probably 30 or 40 amps. For me it's a question of priorities at the time. Need some money for other more important things than hifi? Sell an amp or two. Then the urge to buy again comes back. I found I enjoy some smaller systems just as much as larger ones, although they aren't as resolving or expensive or (with apologies to the Doc for use ) "Audiophile"

For me the path is not necessarily upwards with a better system, I've found it just as fun to try different sounds and combinations sometimes just at equivalent sound level.
