EDIT: I'm going to ask my local GP to refer me to an audiologist. The GP looked inside my ears and no severe wax. Plus, he said my ear drums looks ok.

quite a few years ago had my ears syringed - incredible difference to hearing. About a year later I went to my GP and said that I thought I needed my ears syringed again as my hearing in my left ear was reduced and it felt "itchy" deep inside. He had a look and said there was no need, everything looked fine.
A month or so after this I was having my annual bath, lay back and put my head under the warm water - bugger me, an enormous lump of wax came out (rather like the size of one of those end of pencil erasers!).
To sum up, I am not convinced that the quick visual examination tells the whole story.

Re: Shane's NVA A20/P20
I'm glad to discover the NVA has arrived all in one piece! I've ended up receiving double ''red taped'' Soundcords
The P20 is absolutely cute and god damn tiny!! It's like an embryo of the P50.
I have the cubettes on the desk. Can someone recommend me a decent ''desk top'' type of speaker stand...or something suitable?

Re: Shane's NVA A20/P20
sorry about the cable. Do you want me to send another set or will you put some black tape on the one that should have it.
I use these under the speakers http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-x-Anti-vibr ... 0549284550 four for each speaker. Discovered it by accident used to stop the Cube speakers sliding on the wooden stands as acrylic is slippery, hoped they wouldn't make it sound worse and they don't, and I am almost convinced it may make them better but it is extremely marginal.
