A10H sounds OK - not being blown away by the performance though. Not sure my headphones are as good as they ought to be either - Beyerdynamic DT 660 Pro. What should I swap them to?

I have given up on headphones, it is difficult to listen and work. I have two pairs - Grado SR80, good, and Pioneer Pro (monitor) 10s, better especially for classical, as Grados prefer rock and pop. I just need headphone now to test the AP10h so I only need one.



Produced by Pioneer as their top studio monitor headphones in the late 70's. There has been little made at any price that are such a good musical all rounder.

Grado SR225e are finely detailed and (for Grado's) smooth and refined. Certainly a big step up from the SR80.
I am using my AKG K601 a lot as well at the moment. A softer presentation but excellent with a good headphone amp.

I had the DT770's for a while George.All boom and tizz,and not much detail.I would say that any pair of Grado's will sound better with your AP10.
