Re: [ADVICE] CA Concept MM to Pro-Ject Tube Box DS
I've said many times, I know bugger all about hifi. Why would I try to answer question I don't know the answer to?Daniel Quinn wrote:slinger you do realise you moaned about people not answering the question and didn't answer the question
there is.no answer to the question except ffs try it yourself.
Surely there are politer ways of answering the O.P.s query (not that anyone except Dave really tried to do that, and we're on page 4) than telling him he's bought a piece shit and to work it out for himself. He asked a question to which he didn't know the answer, if nobody else knows the answer then why bother to post except to say "sorry, I don't know the answer to your question." Of course, if you actually favour the "Marco" approach...

I *KNOW* the answer and I gave it, with a follow up of why. Yet again it makes little to feck all difference, so do what you want.
I agree the OP wouldn't know it is a non question, but what more do you want from me.

Re: [ADVICE] CA Concept MM to Pro-Ject Tube Box DS
back to the topic. I got this phono last night so not much time to try. Tried to play with it last night, all combination I could think of
Decided to not keep it. First I thought I have set the jumpers wrong or something and that was the reason I started this thread
But I have decided to not keep it. I dont like the sound at all. Actually what sound? It sounds so damp, suppressed and lack of dynamics ...I really thought I have done something wrong here but after trying all I am sure its cos what it is...
Trouble is that I have this as PX, where I trade in Clearaudio Nano phono for great price. That was much better sounding.
So now I looking for something else
But as I mentioned, NVA is out of questions for me. I have my reasons and they are very simple, much simpler than you all may think. I have explain myself to the right person to make it clear

What other things does the dealer sell? Rega Aria if it's Audio T?

Often we just talk, listen to music or testing stuff. Or some nice events with other great people from around country or even from outside. Like the last GamuT event

Since you use this dealer and have one of their cartridges, how about this?
