Cubettes have arrived!

Unread post by Ronin »

in lightening quick time!

I'm going to have a quick listen in my system tomorrow, before I slot them in to my brother-in-laws Valve based system (he's the one having the loan)

At the moment, my system consists of a Manticore Mantra Turntable/Jelco tonearm/Grado cartridge,an NVA (Vintage) AP20/NVA phono 1,NVA cables, Goodmans Magnum K (doc mod ) speakers.NAD CD player.

My BILs system, is,SystemDeck Turntable/Moth tonearm/Grado Cart,Croft amplifier/Phono stage,NVA cables, Mordaunt Short speaker and a Consonance CD player.

I'll attempt to leave a review ASAP

Thanks for the loan.

I'm looking forward to reading your review. I liked them a lot and at £250 they are incredible value for money. If you think the cubettes are good, don't be surprised if you end up on the NVA speaker upgrade ladder. I have had the cube 3s on loan as well as the cubettes. The cubettes are mm nice, the cube 3s are yum yum. I'm selling a few things to fund the 3s whilst wondering what the cube 2 would sound like in my listening room.

That bloke Dunn makes some very nice stuff.
