Introduce Yourselves
Re: Introduce Yourselves
It's also nice that Mr Donald Trump has decided to join us here at HS.......
Once youve built that wall Don, could you PM me to discuss the chance of a similar project on Scotlands southern border...We will make the English pay for this one.....

Re: Introduce Yourselves
Howdy Y'all..
Joel here.. found my way here via a friend who loves his NVA pre very, very, much.
I do have logins for other hifi forums, but use them infrequently, if at all - think i logged into AoS once, and was promptly attacked from several angles for offences i really didn't understand. Perhaps admitting to working in the trade was too much?
Anyway, to clarify that point, i currently work as a shop assistant in an indpendant London hifi dealer. I earn a basic salary, plus a small percentage of turnover. i do not recieve commission direct from manufacturers, and do not 'up-sell' or push promoted products. I try to maintain an opinion of my own , and aim to help people listen to their music.
This place seems to offer straight answers to straight questions, and appropriate deconstruction of wiggly questions/statements.

Re: Introduce Yourselves
Hello from a very wet Southport
I've been reading a fair bit on this forum and like it a lot
Down to earth advice and no bullshit like on some other sites
Now I'm only on one other site the naim one but don't really post much in fear off upsetting the egos of some on there
Hope I don't come across to abruptly but I'm a bit pissed off with the total bollocks wat follows in this hobby
I currently own a old nait 5 amp and 5i CD player bought second hand and a project carbon turntable going in to a project phono e box oh and a phone bluetooth box which I sink my iPhone to oh and a pair of A&R 94 speakers
Any way my real name is Dave but the wife calls me orc because I have manners and personality of a orc apparently she loves me really
Any way hello all
Dave
