It is perfect for old pop, soul, and raunchy stuff. Heard it through the grapevine on an M3D is hearing it through the grapevine, as I say for me the best way to describe it is that it boogies. It is nice on other things, like Rolling Stones early stuff. Early Yank broadcast standard, Rek-O-Kut TT, Grays Research arm, Shure M3D cart, boogy boogy.
It can get a bit strange on so called Classical music, it has a character, a way with music. It tries to make everything boogy
