Scratch removal

Unread post by orbscure »

Simple question chaps... what's the best way to get small/light scratches out of black acrylic with the minimum of fuss?

Cheers
Pete

Cheers Doc... but for those of us who've never suffered with this nasty ailment, perhaps you'd be kind enough to elaborate a tad more ;)

If it does exactly what it says on the tin (or in this instance bottle) that that's good enough for me... cheers Doc

 Thanks Jammy... I tried some of that, but the shiny nature of the acrylic I'm trying to clean (a Densen DM20 fascia) means its going to need a huge amount of elbow grease... If the product suggested by the Doc (in the post as I type) can get rid of the marks, I plan to use the brasso for the final finish...

This work well, and "T" Cut is also good for fine scratches, but for thorn scratches use Savlon and a Plaster and watch out for infection.
It can be done so imagine it.
