For the steel plate it doesn't matter, you need Bison Kit for the cone doping.

Yep I'll be doing all of your suggested mods but will do them one at a time to see what each does in isolation - Will start a thread once I've got them... Just need to source some Bison & Flexi, where abouts do you buy yours ? Suppose I could ask Alfi what he used on his AP2's in the end.

This is what I used for the plating.. I used Bison Kit for the doping the cone as per Doc's instructions.

Bison Kit will do the plate and any other glue job as well.

"Bison Kit" - Got it, readily available in 50ml tubes like Dave says... That'll be fine for doping & I already have some regular contact adhesive I can use for the internal plates. The "flexi" I was referring to is flexidip but its proving to be slightly more difficult to get hold of... I think this will be fine:

Aha, that explains it There's a very similar product actually called Flexidip but it doesn't appear to be available in the UK.
