I was at KJ Watford from 1974 to 1977 and in W1 Wigmore St until end of 1981. John Read (the 'J' of KJ) sold the W1 business to Steve Wilcox and David Eudale (Listen Inn Northampton) in 1998. The two main staff at KJ jumped ship and started up Walrus Systems shortly after and I understand there is a/are new owner(s) of KJ now, hence the radical refit and Ab Sounds portfolio primarily. I've had no contact with old friends there for some years now as I'm too much of a pauper to acknowledge mains cables starting at several hundred quid, hideously priced monster amps and so on. Glad to be out of it in all honesty!

Back in 2009 I visited the KJ West One shop based in Central London. Interesting shop that sells ultra expensive garbage

What years were you at Studio 99.

Steve Wilcox and David Eudale were old school friends. When i lived in Leicester and then Peterborough I was quite friendly with Steve and his wife, really nice lady with very friendly personality, she may still be friends with my ex wife, who probably still lives in Peterborough.

I'm a humble TA at a local primary school. Exhausting, but loads of potential for me as a person I've found.

Interesting, Dave. Can it be stressful at times?
