I believe the term you are looking for is genocide!

The "safest" chance of prosecution would probably be taking a government department (Home Office? DHSS?) to court with a charge of corporate manslaughter, Genocide would be, I believe, a war crime, and I'm not sure that the class war qualifies.

Today DoorMatt Hancock will say with utter conviction that he is absolutely proud of how he, his department and the government he is currently part of have responded to the Covid 19 crisis in Parliament. The blue ties will all harrumph encouragingly.

And with that the Tory press will put a tick in the box of all yesterdays questions and move on to more serious issues like why is Harry being such a cad to his granny, how wonderful our new straight bananas are, and why Aussie beef is best, etc.

Plus ca change.

The Death Secretary is not answering questions about the death toll. He is merely following his brief rambeling on about the success of the vaccination roll out. This is the smoke screen. The figures do not lie and the number of deaths in this country has to be compared with the rest of Europe. As an island the number of deaths in this country should be far lower as our borders are far easier to protect. Australia and New Zealand are the examples of what should have been done in the outset. The shambles has continued with India not being put on the red list weeks sooner. Just as bad, when three days notice was given allowing vernient carriers to fly here on mass. It beggers belief and the multitudes taken in by the Tory tabloids cannot see through it, similar to Brexit. Johnson and Hancock should be arrested and face crimminal charges.

No-one will ever be held accountable for this mess. It’s the English way and it always has been. Iceland jailed their rogue bankers, we gave them bonuses. There are far too many geezers in positions of power in this country, little bit weeeee, little bit whoosh , know what I mean guv. Their poll ratings will be off the chart next week. Good old Boris eh! ‘E’s a card! ;)
