Durham in Tier 2 before lockdown.

"Please, lockdown for 4 weeks to bring infection rate down."

"Good news, everyone. Lockdown is over...you're in Tier 3"

All because Blow Job & Cock Womble gave the test, trace, isolate money (£14 billion of it) to their mates who didn't have a fucking clue how to operate it. Still, more Tory donors, friends and family are getting even richer, so no problem. £14 billion is more than it cost to build the Channel Tunnel, FFS!

I can fly to Dubai or Tenerife, but I can't go to the pub, 100 yards away.

After spending the past, maybe 4 months, wading my way through the very smart Ivor Cummins and Dr John Campbell's YouTube releases (kind of opposite sides of the argument) I am beginning to realise the Government have made what seems a catastrophic error of judgement. But, the question still remains unanswered...Why? I still need to do more research.

North Yorkshire is in Tier 2 . Doesn't make a blind bit of difference as I will be acting the same usual - no leisure trips or activities, no restaurant or pub visits. Avoid shops and people  Go to work, go home - repeat.

I dare not stay in the same room as my mother for more time than it takes to say hello and are you ok.

Wales seems likely to go into something similar to Tier 2. Makes no difference to me as I have been avoiding pubs and public transport. Have not seen my friends since this nightmare started. Had the shock sad news earlier this week that one is no longer with us (not Covid). When there is a vaccine we plan to give him a good send off.

It's interesting to note that the stats for Greater Manchester and Liverpool City region are broadly similar however Greater Manchester is tier 3 and Liverpool tier 2.

I don't think for one moment this is payback for Andy Burnham's spat with Boris and Joe Anderson cooperation on the mass testing pilot in Liverpool. All decisions will based on the best scientific advice and nothing else 🙄

I am currently listening him live on the Downing St briefing and it's difficult not recall how much the Tory propaganda machine packaged & pushed the image of the dynamic, man of the people with excellent communication skills. What ever happened to him ? This Boris is a little boy lost in complex world where snappy yet shallow slogans and sound bites don't work. I wonder when the Tory old guard will put him out of our misery 🤔

He hates the sort of detail that dismantles his dog-whistle tropes, and he resents the idea that anyone has the right to interrogate him or hold him to account.

His first year as London mayor was a shambles, but he pulled it round, partly through luck and mostly by finding better people to surround him. Difficult to see him pulling that trick off, again, now.

Sevenoaks has been placed in Tier 3, for all the difference that will make to me. I'm a pensioner who lives alone and is virtually housebound these days - unless I fancy forking out for cab fares to take me somewhere and fetch me back - and 99% of my shopping is done online. I was in Tier 3 long before they even -invented- discovered coronavirus.
