Done, although I'm not sure how valuable the views of a 66-year-old who studied to 'A' level almost 50 years ago will be.

Done from the prespective who passed the O'level on a resit 45 years ago. The only one I did not pass first time.

How I hated algebra, could never see the point.

Technology used at A-level maths was a slide-rule.
