Spy novels/thrillers which have a wry sense of humour and a cast of intriguing and engaging characters. The first was really well reviewed and regarded and subsequent ones drew even more positive comments and reviews. I'm looking forward to reading them myself.
+1
I thoroughly enjoyed them. The sixth book in the series (which I haven't got yet) is now out, by the way. It's called "Joe Country"

I'm moving on to the same author's continuation of Steig Larsson's "Millennium" trilogy next.
Added that to the reading pile. Ta. Not sure about the continuation of Steig Larrson, but will probably read that too.
