Looks like a General Election is on the cards.

Whether that will ultimately result in breaking the House of Commons Brexit deadlock remains to be seen.

Agree that the result of an election would be very difficult to predict. I can see a hung Parliament and the Brexit issue not being settled without a second referendum. If Labour clearly state that they are committed to a second referendum with remain on the ballot paper I think they would gain the most seats. If Corbyn was not leader they would have a majority.

He would expect to be treated with respect and listened to whilst making a point in the House, so I don't see why he should feel that this display is in any way appropriate. Added to that, what sort of message does it send to, amongst others, the EU, when they see supposedly responsible "grown-ups" acting like children?
