Some ebay customers are complete arseholes.

Unread post by Dr Bunsen Honeydew »

Sent Royal Mail 1st Class last Saturday morning - ordered two day earlier, and this is the feedback I am given today. All I did was tell him I sent it Royal Mail 1st class, and for a £50 cable he demands I should have paid an extra £10 for free tracking delivery proof. He had the option to do it himself. Anyway I know Royal Mail they have just delayed it or delivered it to the wrong address, they are getting worse. I am certain it will arrive, then we will see the truth regarding honesty. Will he return it or apologise, I will not hold my breath.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Untrustworthy Fraudulent Rude Nothing arrived No Tracking
Buyer: irobot789
NVA 4m set LS2 Loudspeaker Cable (#223226240181) £50.00

All this for £50 of cable. The above is libel, reported to ebay, but on history they will do nothing about it. It is not always the seller who is the crook and the arse, luckily it is very rare.

I pretty much stopped doing ebay several years ago. It was 10% of my business and 90% of my problems.

You really don't need eBay. NVA is an established brand. People find you through here or the NVA Hi-Fi website via Google search.

The order processing / record keeping stuff that eBay gives you is available elsewhere for a fraction of the price (final value fees) that eBay charge you. I save £2k a month by not using eBay.

Just left feedback on LS5 (which arrived last week). It says expected delivery is by 1st March . Therefore he has no business claiming this delivery is late. Ebay should prevent negative feedback until final delivery date stated has been reached.

If Richard was a "power seller" then customers would have to wait 7 days before leaving negative feedback.

Has this asehole started a dispute? - would have thought that is first step if you have a beef and should be necessary before feedback is left.
