Direct Selling

Unread post by CN211276 »

This does not directly concern hifi or the Internet but is informative. We were on holiday in Torquay last week and on one day there was a company selling garden furniture on the prom. The prices could not have been much more than half what the likes of B&Q and Homebase are charging. It was good quality, no assembly required with free delivery in the UK. There was massive interest and a number of sales were made in the short time we were licking our ice creams near by. Had we needed garden furniture we would have bought. It is no wonder the high street is having a hard time and direct sales, in what ever form, seem to be the future. Who wants to pay dealers margins if the can be avoided.
