I reckon this might end up being a long list. I'll add a few things to the thousands of possibilities: the wheel, shoes, condoms and The Bible (just don't take it as Gospel).

Monopoly. Even though it's not a very good game. When compared to board games like Gloomhaven, Agricola, Puerto Rico, Settlers of Catan.

Yeah, but they never really caught on. Apart from a passing craze in Central America.

Just think how big our cemetries would have to be if they had!

Good points Lyndsay. Not sure how many grave stones will still be intact 4000 years down the line.

Simple tools have stood the test of time - hammer, chisel, spade etc etc. I have a set of garden tools that belonged to my great grandfather and still going strong despite the abuse they have had (and still get).
