I assume the majority did no research. The remainder who may have believed they had done some research would have done no more than read opinion pieces based on unproven assumptions about the result of voting either way.

It astounds me that any of you think politicians tell you the truth, they don't and never have done throughout history, it is all agenda and hubris driven, nothing more. Even if starting with good intentions (often just an imposed brainwash - right or left) they soon get corrupted by "the system".

What makes you think I or anyone else here thinks they do tell the truth?

All politicians talk :Bllocks: . I took a lot of credence from the views of business who said Brexit would be a bad thing as is proving to be the case. You do not need a degree in history and economics (as I have) to be aware of the economic advantages of free trade and the consequences of restrictions. Brussels is aware and this is a reason why they are playing hard ball with the Irish Government who have their own agenda.

or the fact that the EU just signed a trade deal with Japan that means its no longer the issue to build in Japan and ship to the EU that it was when the factories were built. Add in the need to retool for new lines, dropping European sales and Euro emissions laws killing diesel why would you stay?

no one ever said that. They said £350 million better off that "could" be spent on the NHS

whether anyone believes that either is another point
