I had a ton of 500s and 502s last night. I couldn't even get back in to report it.

How long does it take? Start with basic Debian, install web server, setup mysql, install php then phpbb, restore database backup, update DBS. Secure the server close unwanted ports and add rootkit monitoring and you are done. I would suggest a virtual server from here, the dedicated ones start to get a bit more pricey. But the entry VPS is £10 a month.

Can you please post here after you've seen problems on the forum (50x errors or lines of text above the green with sqli in the text typically)

It seems we have gone back to normal again, I wonder for how long this time.

It has not gone back to normal for me. When I press Home there is an error message at the top and the first post is an old one. I get the latest post if I press Board Index.
