Obama warned him in two words what to expect: 'Reality bites'. Trump will have to compromise on some/all of his campaign pledges. Whether he knew when he made them that they would be unworkable, or whether he was dumb enough to believe that he just had to say 'Make it so' and he'd get his way, is an open question. Mexican wall, anyone?
