Why would we sell ARM to the Japanese
Why would we sell ARM to the Japanese - it makes no sense. Would Japan Inc sell us Sony.

Well, the simple answer is because "we" didnt own ARM, its shareholders did. Shame though, Hardly a major UK employer though.
