Tell you what, all the adults that want to keep Trident can pay for it.
All the people that want to scrap it can have a tax rebate.
In the event of the UK looking like it will lose a major war and therefore deploying Trident, all the scrappers will have their lives ruled by the government that would have won, whilst all the keepers will continue to be ruled by the UK government.

If you pander to the electorate you get the politics of stupidity .
The debate as for decades been framed as disarmaments are weak liberals who can't live in a real world . Not sure what use a nuclear war head is to the enemy within .
