MS Windows Musical Themes

Unread post by terrybooth »

When M$ introduced Windows 95, they used the Rolling Stones 'Start Me up' to plug it and the revamped Start Menu (revamped in MS terms means mostly reused: this is the company that brought you Windows NT where the NT stood for 'New Technology' and then Windows 2000, which was 'New NT Technology', thus demonstrating that fine programming method called recursion).
So, can you spot any other musical themes in the Windows User Interface (or deeper if you dig deeper)?

How about The Clash for 'Lock the Taskbar'.
