At least you get some decent performance for your 24mpg Theo. When I had my TR4A that did about the same but was 2.1 and 105bhp! :lol: It was, (is), still a beautiful car though and I loved it.

These are the cars i've owned over the last few years first I had this

As I only do about 4 to 5k per year mileage does not matter to much

So some modern cars are not boring but most are like my wife's

Love the Jags. I've toyed with the idea of an S Type-R and also an XKR. Beautiful things!

I've had five Jags now the first was a MK3 XJ6 then I had various company cars namely Vauxhall cavalier Volvo 240 the 740 and Audio 100 and a Merc E class but they where not as nice to drive as the Jag so when I started working for myself I bought an XJ40 then got a XJ8 from Doncaster cost me 4K less than they wanted in London then I bought the three cars in my previous article as I only do low mileage running cost is low and I just love them. Trouble is the wife wants a replacement now.
