Western governments have supported their fair share of murderous dictators. Suharto In Indonesia and Pinochet in Chile for example. Its difficult to find any politician with a working moral compass.

True! It is just I get an insight into what is going on in Russia, and it is bizarre, a bit like an ego the size of Marco's but with nuclear weapons, deciding it is time to flex his muscles. No good will come of it.

Definitely not in Putin's case, he is losing money because of it, especially because of Ukraine, it is all about image, pride and ego.
