Re: Should the 5 min rule stay
My statement about hacking was phrased as a question and not as an inflammatory statement.
Seriously not intended to be a cause of argument here. My excuses to both Brit and Doc. Please view that comment as flippant and irrelevant.
Brit's reply was also, I think, meant more for humorous effect.

That is the way I viewed it, I saw it more as a joke than serious. I really am not sure what Brit's agenda is in this, but it does seem to be one sided.

Re: Should the 5 min rule stay
Marco has invented a rule that any posts he doesn't like being posted here by AoS members will mean he will ban those members if they don't remove them, and he sends them threatening emails to remove it. This rule is to give them an excuse not to as they wont be able to, so he has no justification for banning them.ArseHats wrote:This seems one possible consequence.Fretless wrote:those active on both forums may well feel less freedom to express genuine opinions on HFS
Also, I'm not sure how the 5 minute rule prevents individual members of HFS and AoS being bullied on AoS.
What it certainly does is to preserve for the institution of HFS any incendiary posts written by individual HFS members.
AND more importantly it tells him he cannot moderate our forum by proxy.

I think I'm going to join AoS just to find out what this Marco geeza gets up to. (that should put the next few new members under suspicion !!).
Audio Grail "Sable" Garrard 401 with Cumbrian Green Slate plinth / Audiomods 6 / Benz Micro Gullwing SLR, Phono 2, NVA INT400sa. (Oh and a Copland CDA823 CD Player, for when I fancy a bit of the devil's spawn!)

Cubes sounding bloody glorious! Just had Hendrix 'Band of Gypsys' on loud. Finally speakers that really do justice to Jimi. HUGE bass too. Getting better and better.

How are you imagining he will behave towards those who post negatively about him here unde the 5 minute rule?Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote:Marco has invented a rule that any posts he doesn't like being posted here by AoS members will mean he will ban those members if they don't remove them, and he sends them threatening emails to remove it. I can see how the rule protects anti-Marcl posts for the purposes of HFS. Their authors? Not so much.
