Doc.

You could try Russ Collinson who owns Layers of Beauty http://layers-of-beauty.co.uk He makes fantastic TT plinths - veneered, solid or Baltic birch plus he's a very nice helpful guy too and his work is very reasonably priced in my estimation..

I'm sure he would advise you.

Don't be daft. Who told you I wouldn't sell it, everything is for sale if the offer is good enough.

You will struggle to get a real wood veneer round those tight curves without it splitting. A joinery shop would be able to knock out a couple of solid wood replacement pretty easily.

Don't you steam or soak the veneer to go around curves.

But I would love a cheeky little AP10, AP20 sort of amp for a bedroom setup...

Im with Guy, get some solid hardwood - measure, cut, round off, sand, drill, stain and varnish.
Simples, you could train a Monkey to do it. :guiness;

Yes, but it is a monumental pain in the arse to do and I still think you would struggle with that tight a radius. Most veneer is about 1mm thick, which doesn't sound a lot until you try and bend it around something like that.
