I don't drink as such, as I have an aversion to alcohol, it doesn't make me feel nice it makes me ill. So I drink very occasionally and for taste not effect.

Favourite tastes, well I have a sweet tooth and like fruity flavours, so my favourites are Nadia's home made Blackberry wine (one glass as it is 25% proof), second is Limoncello, and third is Cointreau. And on a hot day to cool off a pint of ice cold Lager with double Lime.

It was extremely embarrassing as a teenager and in my twenties when your mates got smashed at parties to just watch, but my saviour was discovering pot, as I could get smashed without being ill. But gave that up mid 70's, so now I am just boring :|

Try a Drambuie Depth Charge Jimbob.....
Carefully sink a sherry glass full of Drambuie into a pint glass of Lager, let infusion occur and neck it - Lurvely. :guiness;

I like Whiskey & Beer.

The Northern French and the Belgians do this as well but with Picon, a tarte orange based apperitiff, very nice.

Ooo I will give that a go. A guiness with a double of whiskey in it is nice!

I don't really have a "favourite" tipple these days. Back when I was a regular pub drinker/part-time-barman it was Brandy and/or Guinness. At the moment it's a selection of craft beers won in a contest at TAS or Gin and Tonic (It must be Schweppes, and Greenall's Gin) with a large splash of Bottle Green Elderflower Cordial.

Beer, wine, gin & tonic. Basically anything except dark spirits like whisky and brandy. Can't be doing with them.

Every night I grab some money and I go down to the bar
I got my buddies and a beer, I got a dream, I need a car
You got me begging on my knees, c'mon and throw the dog a bone
A man he doesn't live by rock 'n roll and brew alone.
---
These days it is pale ale watching football and prosecco watching house of cards . Alas my heavy drinking days are over cause a man cannot live on rock and roll and beer alone ;)
