We have a stupid squirrel who keeps getting stuck on our bedroom window ledge, and just sits there and screams :angry-screaming:

He has done it twice now, I think he (or she) is one of this years babies.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The Squirrels are my friends, it is the Feral Pigeons I am at war with. The squirrels are like a bunch of acrobatic clowns, they are so entertaining, and they are getting more friendly. I can sit in the garden now and they will come up to within 5 feet of me, so by next summer I will have one sitting on my shoulder and eating from my hand

I think I have the answer myself, I will hang a long length of mains cable from the window ledge to the ground. It seems they can climb up the house bricks but can't get back down so the cable will help them.

I have a problem with a hunting cat trying to catch my Black birds and Robins how can I get rid of it. I'm not a cat lover so shooting it would not be a big problem for me but I would prefer a non terminal answer

I had the same problem. Most of the cats around here are stupid but one black and white is a squirrel killer. When it caught one in front of me and ran off with it in his mouth I ordered a catapault from ebay. One stone up his arse and a couple of near misses and now he rarely comes, and if he does he crosses our garden like his tail is on fire. The other thing they hate is being hissed at as it makes you seem like a bigger cat so they stay away. The stupid cats are welcome, one has decided it wants to move in but we are not letting it.

The cat has probably marked your garden as its territory. Best way to discourage cats is a garden hose (they hate getting wet!). But they can be persistent and have a very strong hunting instinct.

I have setup the hose where it likes to sit and I will also get a catapault hopefully one of those will work as a shot gun seems a bit over the top.

It is someones pet who hasn't a clue it is causing you problems and couldn't stop it if he tried, so killing it is out of the question, and I think illegal. A catapault is good as you have to be very unlucky to seriously harm or kill it, only a head shot could do that. I aim for the bum, it gave him a bruise to remember me by.
