Well, for me it doesn't, as I don't live in a area that any of them thought they could make loads of money by providing services when they were actually laying fibre. Oddly the years of open competition hasn't changes any of that.They don't. Virgin Media, Talk Talk and City Fibre are all in that mix. How does that work?

I live in a small rural village in North Essex. Another firm has laid fibre cables in my village, and many surrounding villages, but for various reasons I don't want to deal with them.
If Labour get in will I get a refund ?

But they suggest you may get FTTH rather than FTTC.
IMHO, the real difference is if they start to offer symmetric data rates.
