Words fail me .... :angry-screaming:
In his deluded pointy little head he is channeling Churchill, at least for all his sins Chamberlain tried to do the right thing, and he was not in the pay of the NAZI party. Johnson and his cronies however are a tad cramped for space in Putins back pocket.

To Johnsons credit history will record that he has single handedly redefined the term fatuous twat.

Johnson: Right, chaps. I've heard some nasty rumours about people thinking I'm a bit embarrassing, and that I've made Britain a laughing-stock on the international stage. Leave this one to me, I've got this... "Ukrainians are just like the plebs when they voted for Brexit". Wizard wheeze, eh lads? They'll lap it up, and I'm taking your stunned silence as a vote of confidence in my absolute bally brilliance.

Right, Nadine, Liz, help me get rid of this stiffie and I'll shuffle out to address my adoring followers...

Boris said:
"I know it's the instinct of this country, like the people of the Ukraine, to choose freedom every time.
I can give you a couple of famous recent examples. When the people of this country voted for Brexit in such large numbers, I don't think it was because they were remotely hostile to foreigners. It was because they wanted to be free. To do things differently and for this country to be able to run itself.
I'll give you another example. When the British population came forward to be vaccinated at such incredible speed - voluntarily - unlike many other countries...
"

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-60809454

His line of rhetoric was to say that it's the general desire of people to be free, both in Britain and in the Ukraine.
He wasn't comparing Brexit to the war in Ukraine. He was talking about the desire for freedom.

That - in my opinion - is a reasonable line of rhetoric to take.

Shame that he has been so hypocritical about the freedom of the people. Our freedom went right out the window at the drop of the Covid hat. The freedom of wealthy Russians with assets in the UK - to do what they want with their assets - has gone right out the window.
The freedom for me to do what I want with the money that I earn has been eroded - due to tax increases imposed by his Government.

I'd also like to see Section 43 of the Terrorism Act scrapped. It's a piece of legislation that the police have used to intimidate and bully law abiding citizens.

As well as loads of other laws that restrict my freedom. For example me not being free to do more than 70 mph on a quiet motorway during clear weather conditions when I'm in a medium performance car.

I suppose it's a bit like Thatcher. She was full of capitalistic rhetoric. However, during her spell as PM, her government became increasingly socialistic in terms of spending and the taxation burden.

All in all, his freedom rhetoric is bullshit. Words are cheap. Give us more actual freedom Boris. Then I might admit that you value freedom. Until then I'll say that you're just another typical politician. One that favours Big Government over the freedom of the people.

It's a tad sad when the syrup has a greater IQ than the wearer. It becomes tragic when enough deluded twonks decided that THAT was the person THEY wanted to represent them in parliament..

As Eddie the shipboard computer would say - Ho Hum..

It makes me laugh when people think it's a wig. Who the FECK would pay good money for a wig that looked like that? Believe it or not, and as far as I know, it's his "real" hair. Unless...

TBF, in 2014 he did finally admit that "some" of his hair is “enhanced” but wouldn't say which bits. Even that begs the question "WHY?" though.

Jacob Rees-Mogg - well worth watching the short video interview, and to think many Tories see him as a man of the people :-).

PS For a while Iain Duncan Smith was worried as the Chinese whispers suggested J R-M was using his name & reputation to defend Johnson's partying
