I've not tried it myself but there are others who have. It is a part of the BBC charter that they cannot receive money from foreign powers. However they recieve several million from the EU each year to promote the EU. You write to the BBC advising you are withholding your license fee payments as they are in breach of their charter. The BBC won't take you to court because they are in breach and they don't want it publicised in a test case. Obviously, being the progressive troughers that they are, they won't even consider the option of refusing the EU money.

A fine Idea I might have tried Macca, but sods law I paid the tv licence last week.
