Forum Conflict

Unread post by Dr Bunsen Honeydew »

Now we see the results of recent forum conflict (slight), we have less posting and some members have got the hump. We have enough people elsewhere to call and take the piss out of without doing it to each other. We cannot all agree about things, so 1/ don't be pedantic use knowledge to add not subtract 2/ forget past misdemeanours, let it go if the person involved understands where they were wrong. 3/ let the dust settle and move on to other subjects.

Unfortunately all three of those points rely on human nature, and that's a real bugger to either ignore, or change for a lot of people. Some folks are born to waffle, some to complain, and some to suffer the burden of a thin skin. I agree with you, let bygones be bygones, but hoping for it and getting it are sadly, two different things.
