Born again listener. Lost my way many years ago, mainly by the flashy lights of computers many moons again. As a result I never realised the errors of my way cds seemed good but when I could rip them to mp3 wow convenience instant access fantastic. After many years of what I assumed was good hifi a couple of years ago got a record deck had lots of vinyl from my youth. Putting on vinyl after about 30yrs of cds / mp3s I realised the errors of my way and set out on my path to get back that which I had turned my back on. Anyhow this Christmas I had grado sr80, wtf I have missed years of great music just hope I keep to the path and find my nirvana. I hope to purchase some nva when finances allow so I can truly be saved.... Been here a while but in the shadows. Like the honesty on here..

My association with NVA is from my good friend Tomasz. He has learnt a huge huge amount from Richard. I so wish I'd been able to take a listen to Tom's supercharged NVA headphone amp but up to now it's still in the planning stages to make that journey. What I have managed to do is spend 3 hours or so in the company of an nva cube speaker and that has intrigued me enough to find out more about the philosophies behind it all.
I have a First Watt F6 power amp that has been diy built, a Chord Mojo dac, a loaner Lampizator Dac4 and some JM Labs Floorstanders. My downstairs basement goes the length of the house, has wooden flooring and a low ceiling . As yet there is no door at the bottom so it's not quite a box room. The sound, to me, is pretty good, I've not bothered with acoustic treatment. The cube may yet beat those floorstanders. I'd never have believed that until I heard a set last week. I am mad keen on headphones as I spent the previous 11 years living in a motorhome. I have K1000 Bass Heavy, HE6, HD800, and W1000Z full size and quote a few other non flagships.

Evening All.
Another South-coaster here, been down the Hifi Rabbit hole since I contracted Audiophilia in 1987.
Thought I'd got it under control and had been in remission for 30 years. Nahh no chance, it came back with a vengeance 2 1/2 years ago, but hopefully an empty wallet will keep symptoms at bay fro a while.

Some of you may have endured my Rig in the Ashby room at the recent kegworth show, valves everywhere in the chain and those bloody aweful Ushers (well according to Richard   )

Welcome Lurch, join your old friend Uncle Fester (as my wife calls me when in a mood with me). Tell the members about your Bake-offs (famous for fish fingers and chips).

Hi again.
