For a few quid more a month he could blast what he has now and enter true high end sound solutions.
He really must be mad. There is no rationality in him.
That few quid a month comes to less than the price of a blue fuse over the course of a year.

Hi, I am Chris.

Sorry, I do not have NVA amps - just an old Quad 99. I listen to CDs mainly, which I think sound good enough.

I really love music but discovered I am not good at making it myself (despite trying hard). So, I like to sit back and be amzaed at how the experts do it.

Somehow, I was a big ELO fan as a kid and progressed to Yes, Rush, Genesis and Pink Floyd. Now I like a lot more from ABBA to Metallica.

I have my main setup and a little Headphone-only setup, perfect for late nights when writing things like this...

You don't have to own NVA to be welcome here, have what you like as long as it makes music.

Welcome Chris.

HFS is a good place for music lovers. Any genre, any style. Just as long as it moves you.

HiFi - a good system is one that lets the emotions flow to the listener. Doesn't have to cost an arm & leg.

Welcome to the forum. I did not have any NVA kit when I joined and learnt that you do not need to spend an arm and a leg to have a great enjoyable sound. Your musical tastes are similar to mine.

Hi,

Just a quick one to say hello. Just joined and going to be an NVA customer very soon. I`m in norfolk so not too far away from NVA (unless i`m mistaken). I`m running an audiolab setup at present but have always wanted an NVA setup, looking forward to hearing my music properly again!

I`m in to most genres, something vocal, something that presents little details that keep me interested, something with spark and emotion. I fear the NVA will keep me indoors more than the missus would like :)

Cheers,

Hi all  Attempt at intro number two (the first one was about to be posted when I shut down the page rather than backscreening it. DOH!) :x Anyhoo, I guess I've been into audiophoolery since around 1970ish. I'm only dating that from the fact that I upgraded to my first "serious" turntable when Ted Heath was PM and I'd been at it for a couple of years before that, it was a Thorens TD160 so it wasn't that serious by current standards. As I rarely sell anything I've gathered enough electrical junk over the years to keep a few set ups on the go and a pile of "spares" stashed here there and everywhere around chez nous. Mrs Leclerc has a tolerant disposition fortunately.
As there's a whole world of music to listen to, and sometimes a life to lead, I tend to be a sporadic poster rather than a permanent forum fixture. My knowledge of audio varies from very little to none at all and that's on a good day! I'll stop there because (a) overlong intros are a pain in the arse and (b) CBA has set in.

Hello and welcome Leclerc.

Before pitching in it might be good to list your current system, tell us what you like listening to and give us an idea where in the world you are.

Cheers

Andy
