Hello join the group just after christmas, when I bought my first NVA gear(NVA P50sa,NVA A40 mk2 which the doc changed for the a60mk2 as he didnt have time to make the a40s, plus speaker cable and interconnecting cables.I must say that it sounds amazing, I just wish I had discovered NVA earlier.
This forum is like a breath of fresh air, keep up the good work. Cheers Doc.

Welcome. It is a big regret of mine not discovering NVA earlier. In my case I think it had a lot to do with losing interest in hifi for a long time after all the :Bllocks: of the 80s. This forum is a breath of fresh air amongst all the present day bullshit.
Main System

Sonore OpticalRendu, Chord Mscaler & Qutest, Sbooster PSs

Hi All, just to introduce myself after visiting this site many times and joining a while ago. I've had a long-term interest in Hi Fi, but claim that what I enjoy is listening to music. I've got 2 NVA amplifiers at present, both of which are in storage as I have a DAC with volume control that I use with a power amp. I tried out my old AP 30 the other day, it still impresses me with it's detailed presentation of music. Have been enjoying both of the threads about people building their own amps using NVA boards, partly due to the fact I built 2 NVA AP 30 Black Box kits years ago and can imagine how rewarding it must be to create something for yourself.
I can't find out how to add a list of equipment to the bottom of a post or how to add an avatar but might figure it out one day?
All the best.

Hello HFS,

Just joined up after becoming another one of those binned from TAS for making challenges over illegal and ridiculously priced fuses.

Some excellent down to earth and common sense stuff written here which is why I like it. I hope in time I can make my own positive contributions.

Really need to find a place to listen to some NVA kit. I’ve heard the headphone personal amp which was good at it’s price level, but would like to hear some of the more serious kit sometime. I have a mate who has a mate with the 80 monobloks. When my mate heard them he was completely blown away and his own kit is no slouch, so my intregue is much twitched.

Looking forward to joining in,

WC

Hmm, yes, that is very true. I really can’t believe the MartinT nonsence. He must be going unhinged. It’s not just illegal fuses. It’s fancy boxes attached to his speaker inputs, absolutely not understanding what they actually do. He has an obsession with cheap or free sub standard streaming services. For a few quid more a month he could blast what he has now and enter true high end sound solutions.
He really must be mad. There is no rationality in him. He is, afterall still using a Technics disco deck for vinyl replay, heavily tweaked with shed loads of after market ridiculously priced add on gimmicks which may make an improvement (not difficult) but not of any worth in the totality. Takw what he has spent on his disco deck and you could buy a TT that really does perform properly.
