Just because shops are open (and more on the way) it doesn't mean you have to go to them. Apparently somebody has found a way to enable pubs to open. Anybody rushing to go there is imo off their heads.

My family and I are still on the same level of lockdown as before and will be for the foreseeable future.
No change here either for the foreseeable future .

With the caveat that this is only the (informed) view of one person, I'd urge you to read:

Why I quit working on Boris Johnson's ‘world-beating' test-and-tracing system

God , it's worrying isn't it . Well , they won't have to contact me as me and my family have no intention of breaking the original lockdown any time soon .
Click and collect groceries picked up at 8 in the morning when no one , apart from a staff member , is around . We have no other need to go to shops and my family work Monday to Friday 9 -5 so even if shops do open I'm afraid we will be staying away for a long time .
This person's experience once again highlights all the the lies we are being fed by this bunch of inept fools we call a government .

Very believable andextremely worrying. Track and trace has worked in Grtmany, can't we learn from their experience? Oh i forgot, the two f**k wits responsible for the mess we are in now conned us into Brexshite isolation with their lies.

I mentioned the R-Number earlier, and I've just found this site which gives the "R" for the majority of countries. I set the graph up to show the US and the UK, with an Average Serial Interval of 7 Days.

I can't swear to the accuracy, but everything about it looks genuine. The FAQ will give you a better idea of what's going on perhaps.

The R-number on its own does not present a true picture. A R-number in a country of 0.9 where there are only a few hundred new cases a day is all well and good, but in the case of the UK where there are over 8,000 with no track and trace it is a different matter.

Boris Johnson's sister Rachel flouts lockdown to stay at second home and play tennis:

Even Boris Johnson’s own sister isn’t playing by his rules any more – staying overnight at her London residence and enjoying a spot of tennis.

Radio host Rachel is courting more controversy for the embattled PM, splitting her time between her family farm and the capital.

She has made no secret of the fact she is isolating in Somerset, with “essential” journeys to her job in London as a presenter on LBC.

But she hasn’t mentioned that her work trips have included overnight stays at her Notting Hill residence.

While there Rachel has certainly played the advantage, hob-nobbing with pals yesterday and enjoying the sunshine despite her brother’s guidelines putting second homes well beyond reach during lockdown – as well as banning movement between two households.

Her husband and daughter are also at the Exmoor farm.

One Whitehall source said of the apparent double-fault in the wake of the national fury over Dominic Cummings: “It doesn’t look good for anyone.

"The story Boris is trying to avoid is of one rule for the elite and another for the rest.

First his friend Dom and now his sister have been caught bending the rules, if not breaking them.”

After her show on Friday, Rachel returned to the west London home where her two sons also stay.

On Saturday, after a quick knock-up with pals and a dog walk, she took a train to Somerset.

A spokesman for the radio host said: “In line with the majority of broadcasters she is afforded keyworker status.

"The show finishes at 7pm. As it’s a four-hour journey back, she sometimes stays over.

In line with the guidance, she makes a concerted effort to stay alert at all times.”

SOURCE

The way The Mirror is drip-feeding these stories it makes one wonder what else they, or The Guardian, may have up their sleeves.
It seems that the petition calling for Cummings to be sacked, or to resign, has now passed one million signatures. Jacob Rees-Mogg, as Leader of the House, has already said that because the petition is not on the official government petitions website it will be ignored.
