Snakeoil is back public again, doesn't look the same, in the past four out of five threads were about me or my neck for some reason, they seem to have all gone but, perhaps just gone private.

They are trying to make it look normal but it is delusional, it is a fantasy world created to draw us in. There is more madness in this than any of you think. Watch it, it is like a man turning his brain inside out talking to himself.

The guy joined there called Jim Jam is saying he is Blackbeard, and Rudi is going bonkers trying convince us he is real

AND at PFM as posted by Barnys Dad.

This is EXACTLY how it went down:

Danny (Duvet) and Stuart(Cambs) both resigned from Admin/Mod duties.

I wanted to be sacked from Mod duties and was.

Due to PFP's written invitation to HFS to join the Wam, Danny & Stuart requested their accounts to be terminated.

Like you do with a terminally sick dog, I was writing my request when the plug was pulled and I was put out of my abject misery.

Well we can still say we don't like the way the forum is commercialised (who does) and it still hurts the eyes, but Pete has been true to his word and rabski has played it with a pretty straight bat. I think there are still problems with some other mods, so I think it is incumbent on us to contribute positively if we decide to go back. This here is obviously my prime focus forum, and as I have said it is Savvy who will show them all that we are the sensible ones not the nutters and arses that we were labelled as by the real nutters and arses, and reality seems to be coming out.

For me it is the access to shows and bake-offs that appeals to me the most. After all the dust has settled I may have a word about doing the loan scheme there and getting other manufacturers to join in. Also if done correctly there can be a commercial kick back for Wigwam. It costs about 10% overall for most people to use eBay, so a 10% kick back to Wigwam for any sales generated would seem logical. Just need to find the best way to do it.

Admin. When people put links to external sites, like these, they replace the HFS page with the linked page. Any chance of configuring the software so automatically opens a new window/tab? Saves a lot of backspacing when done.

TA.

Better, imo, as it is...this way the user is in control and can decide whether to open the link in a new tab or not.

To open in new tab...hold Ctrl key at the same time as clicking the link.

Likely a different key on a MAC. Command, perhaps? Anyone?

Lots of opinion about that Wigwam is being opened up as prep for going on the market and getting sold. It strikes me the only logical course would be a management / member buy out with the issue of shares. Can you imagine if a retailer or a manufacturer bought it and made it into a company forum :naughty:

Maybe the rumours are barking completely up the wrong tree, but talk is free.
