The other interesting thing, is that the more you plug into a preamp, the better it sounds. Is it worth unplugging all of you sources?
If you really 'feel' this, then make up some very cheap phono plugs with shorting links in them and connect them into the spare sockets on the unused source inputs. In NVA's case, leave the 'record out' and 'direct' sockets well alone! I used to think I could detect the tiniest of differences way back, but just can't be arsed now as the music takes full precedence.

Thanks Dave, but I am not bothered by these tiny tweaks.
The people that do this must lead uninteresting lives, or live their HiFi all day long.

Self misuse.
It's illegal and can make you go blind.

Amen to that, I mean if their systems sound so good why are they on forms all the time? LOL

Why not? and you slurpers really wish they weren't, as we hold you to account, look what you could get away with without us to call you to rights.

I was forced to put up with those speakers (I think the same model) at Lurch's wigwam bake-off, simply they are shite, they drove me out of the room, I tried to be polite. They are hi-fi in extremis, they murder the music. Everything I hate about hi-fi.

Probably very good hi-fi from the look of it, but good music :naughty: :snooty:

Those speakers must be awful if he thinks Spotify compares to Qobuz. The difference is night and day.
