There is nothing like a bit of expectation bias.
Apparently my Caiman SEG (up for sale now) has a Mark Grant fuse in it, I think.....
I can’t believe that it makes a lot of difference.
The SEG you would think reading the banter is the best DAC on the planet, even better with a Supercap PSU (LOL)

Supercap is just a word, its for people who need to have the latest in thing, nothing new.
For the money, it is ok.
I don’t notice a big difference between the Caiman II and the SEG. That is probably just me though.

The TAS management team have recently disabled my other account.
No great loss, as there is nothing much of interest posted very often.

Supercap psu, for people who think the energy density of capacitors is too small, but the energy density of li-ion batteries is too high.

A complete yawn fest unless they start off on fuses again. Then they just show how ignorant and stooopid they are. Can you imagine anything more stooopid than paying loads to get a new radial circuit installed and then using fused plugs and even to the ultimate daftness of buying £130 fuses when he doesn't need them - must have money to burn or no brains.

Just in case you thought our silence meant a modicum of normality on TAS, don't be fooled.

We have mad Mike and the box of tricks that is RTZ grounding box .

If I didn't know better I would swear blind mouse TAS was a post modern commentary on HiFi. Alas it is just sad middle age men who have to prove they are true audiophiles.

Is it still there, I though it had bored itself to death.
