He was threatened by Marco not to talk. Some nonsense of Glasgow hard men and white vans. As usual just bullshit if it came from Marco, as if they existed I am sure I would have met them.

Meanwhile, poor old Biggy is quickly becoming the Frank Spencer of AoS. His latest foray into record cleaning has resulted in yet another lemon flavoured purchase gracing the sideboard of Biggy Towers.

Fart of Sound

Unread post by alfer » Sat May 19, 2018 8:25 am

Will the Earl of Wrexham be holding a street and garden party. It would be an opportunity for him to mingle with the riff raff who surround him and raise their appreciation of good food, like what he does.

Homeless a speciality. Practice being gracious. Will his do be better than that bloody pub next door.

Quietly devise further restrictive requirements to place on new friends, buddies and dudes of his forum the Fart of Sound, skidmark row.

You got a lot of nerve, to say you are a friend, I used to be a member of your crazy forum

Meanwhile, Jabba is boring the shit out of the membership with tales of food and fine weather away from the confines of his musical broom cupboard.

And after the fiasco of writing a glowing review of what turned out to be a faulty record cleaner, BigShill80 has been at it again with a gushing review the 5th iteration of an AT-1010 tonearm. It seems he's caught a dose of the Rev MartinT 1990's hi-speak bollox and is waxing lyrical about another improvement with what his golden ears can hear. But he's tried to cover his large ass by editing his post and adding this at the end:
Frank Spencer wrote:***I have not been asked to write this review or been offered any incentive to do so. I have no affiliation with the manufacturer and my views here are expressed due to my own experience with the aforementioned equipment only***
Waving at Biggy who'll be reading this in cloaked mode, go on Oli, pull the other one :naughty:

Oliver likes to please his friends.

Not a crime, but not so helpful when it comes to comparative analysis.

In his first review of the modified arm he gives it 10/10 for sound, and says "Simply stunning performance. Very hard to fault anywhere, unless you are Stevie Nicks!"

In his latest review (of the 'new' Mk5 arm) he says "This combination left me feeling like ive only been playing around at being serious about vinyl. Luckily, I have a Mk5 on order and I'll be getting an Ortofon Vienna asap".

So, is that a 20 out of 10?

Aren't tonearms brilliant?!
