Music is my drug.

Without music I would most likely be lying in a gutter with a needle in my arm....

... or running a library somewhere.

Don't think I would have got through my teens without it and it has always been just as important. Live music as well as at home. There is no bigger thrill than a rock concert and the lack of them is one of the huge voids in my life now. Don't know where I would be now without the hifi and :guiness;

Books for me, the written word is something special. Better than music? possibly not. Never the less it carries me away to places I wouldn't nominally go. Would I miss it ,absolutely its been part of my life since I was born, on the other hand once I could read it was a great revelation. The reading , for me led to the music or maybe vice a versa. Who knows :grin:
