The Sweet could really rock!

It's been discussed before, but The Sweet often got written off as glam fluff pop-merchants, but live they could keep up with a lot of the "proper" rock bands of the day. This is them ripping it up in 1974.

Check out the drummer, Stu. That man is having some major fun, and loving what he's doing.

The early 70s were a great time. Alongside The Sweet other bands who could rock were topping the charts such as Slade, T.Rex and Suzi Quatro. This was along side all the less commercial classic rock. Glad I was young then. :character-beavisbutthead: :character-beavisbutthead:
