I know I didn't post here for a longer time. Had a lot to do (my mother moving to Dresden, lots of work), but as Fretless said, now I'm stuck at home with my wife, we're both working here know, passing days in pajamas. So calming down a bit and thinking, that the only thing missing in this infernal situation are zombies walking down the street. What really hit me this evening was reading that 'Kind of Blue' was removed from the list.

So mine looks like that (The Doors had to go):

Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
Lou Reed - Transformer
Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells
Crass - Stations of the Crass
David Bowie - Aladdin Sane
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
The Beatles - -Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
The Cure - Disintegration
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Kate Bush - The Red Shoes

Thank you, Fretless. Nice to hear from you again, too. Miles Davis, and especially 'Kind of Blue', is a must in this list and I hope nobody has the courage to remove it again!

Still Tubular Bells, Rumours and Sgt Pepper from the original selection.

The first list wasn't my personal favourites but a choice based on classic 'audiofool' cliches and popular chart toppers.

Damn. I forgot 'Hotel California'. :angry-screaming:

Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
Lou Reed - Transformer
Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells
Crass - Stations of the Crass
David Bowie - Aladdin Sane
London Grammar - If You Wait
The Beatles - -Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
The Cure - Disintegration

Taking out FM 'Rumours' in place of probably the best release from the last decade:
London Grammar's sublime 'If You Wait'.

I replace Lou Reed 'Transformer' with 'The Velvet Underground & Nico' because this wonderful album had a big influence on the work of several later musicians.

My list:
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
The Velvet Underground & Nico
Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells
Crass - Stations of the Crass
David Bowie - Aladdin Sane
London Grammar - If You Wait
The Beatles - -Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
The Cure - Disintegration
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Kate Bush - The Red Shoes

Removed London Grammar and replaced with a bit of Bob. There is more that I would normally remove but given it's one at a time....

The Velvet Underground & Nico
Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells
Crass - Stations of the Crass
David Bowie - Aladdin Sane
Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks
The Beatles - -Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
The Cure - Disintegration
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Kate Bush - The Red Shoes
