Bright Young things Roger (75) Daltrey and Pete (74) Townshend have put together 'WHO', their first new collection of songs since 'Endless Wire', 13 years ago.

Who are the oldest band still going ? The stones perhaps ?

Golden Earring ('Radar Love') formed in 1961, a year before the Stones.

They have just done a summer of major festivals and are touring through the autumn.

2 original members and other 2 from 1970.

'The Loards', sometimes called the German Beatles, have been playing since 1959. But I don't know if anybody from the original setup is still active.
