And, you are correct, its not self-titled. (I thought it was cos says The Free Spirits in big letters whereas ""Out Of Sight And Sound" is in small.

My mistake.

It's the only album they did. Larry Coryell and Bob Moses went to Gary Burton shortly after the release.

As the late, great Lou Reed put it: 'Jazz-rock; if you can't do good rock and you can't do good jazz, why not put the two together and make one real piece of shit'.

Anyway, wasn't Davey Graham ahead of the pack with his jazz/folk/rock stuff in the early 60s?

Graham is an interesting suggestion, but mefinks there is no ROCK in that equation.
