Saw "Man With The X-Rays Eyes" yesterday. A Roger Corman film staring Ray Milland. The Man With The X-ray Eyes sees what he doesn't need to see - sees thru to all the shits.
In the end he loses it all and claws his eyeballs out.
That is wot the R&R Hall of Fame is: a festering threat to Humanity.

8 of the acts in the list are in my collection and some I like a lot (Kate Bush, Radiohead).

I don't know who the feck you are, but Kate(s) Bush was something of a wet dream for many fellas around my age back in the day. I forgive her all of it for side 2 of Hounds of Love, whic I find a very moving piece taken as a whole, which I believe was the intention. Loads of other great songs she did even if I didn't like all of it!
I disagree with many of the other bands on your list too, but sometimes, a song comes along - couldn't give a sh*t who from - and it resonates to the point you almost forgive the artist's other less good stuff.
