Round whatever: What record am I listening to?

Don't know anything about that other album, but to The Wall, I agree. It was the first Pink Floyd album to. It brought me to this band. Then for a long period it was en Vogue to listen to any Pink Floyd album except The Wall. I like it very much, even if it's a rather poppy (or populistic?) album.

'Pro's and Con's' was released as Waters first solo album after he left the group.

'The Wall' is great. But some would call it a Waters album played by PF.

Krautrock cannot be blues-influenced. That is the whole idea: they were out to make their own (German) sound, not America-pap.

Korner was with the band Snape, but that is later on.

I recently had Canadian press of Alexis Korner Blues Incorporated lp.

I queued outside the record shop with a schoolfriend waiting to buy 'The Wall ' on the day it came out. We went back to his place and played the whole thing 5 times in a row.

I think I bought it on the day it came out. Could not stop playing it on my first hifi system.
